I apologize for my absence. Life has been a bit more than I can handle recently, with work picking up and Mike’s parents coming into town on Wednesday. Both things I am extremely happy about, but, also both things that allow little time for blogging.
While I am still unprepared for the FIL’s visit (a house is a lot harder to de-clutter than an apartment…), I couldn’t be more excited. They are visiting Pittsburgh for the first time and, weather permitting, coming for lots of baseball and old fashioned Pittsburgh site seeing (read: lots and lots of eating). More likely than not, I won't be back visiting the Blog World until next Tuesday... :(
So, because I have Pittsburgh on the brain, and very little creativity left in said brain after a 5a.m. wake-up, here are some of the top Pittsburgh Wedding resources to find Vendors, Supplies, Etc.

-Don’t forget to sign up for “Wedding Channel Deals,” which work just like Groupons but are all for wedding related items in Pittsburgh or Online! (Today’s is not a good example, but, normally, the deals are quite reasonable and helpful!)
- Take time to peruse the real weddings for some great photos and ideas you can steal! :)
- Trust me. As long as you’re not looking for the Groom, Craigslist is an amazing way to pick up things like card boxes, money dance pouches, church decorations, favor bags, etc. that newly-wives are needing to get rid of to make room for baby, or for all those wedding gifts. Because of how anxious they are to make space, you will often get things far cheaper than you’d ever imagine (and even cheaper than they are listed!)
- Kick-Ass Card Holder <---- See? But you can’t have this. This is mine. :) (And I’m only paying $15! Thank you Orange & Blue Bride!)
- Great resource that really gives a wide variety of options for vendors, sites, etc. Just make sure you don’t sign up for e-mails, because they will sell your e-mail address and the people they sell it to? Well, they aren’t afraid to use it.
- Not familiar with this website, but, it’s the top Google Search under “Pittsburgh Weddings” so, if anyone finds it helpful, let me know why!
